Too often, incredible musicians settle for tools that don’t match their artistry simply because the right instruments are out of reach because of cost.
I know because I'm a guitar player first and a builder second.
Every guitar I create is built to meet the demands of musicians who make a living (or a passion project) out of playing, recording, and creating. That means producing electric guitars that can handle night after night of gigs to making custom features that let you unlock your unique sound and style.
This isn’t just a business for me—it’s personal.
Too often, I've seen working musicians get shut out of custom shop quality while those who just want something pretty to hang on the wall grab all the high-dollar builds.
What truly sets JTal Guitars apart is the relationship I build with every musician who trusts me with their instrument.
When you choose JTal Guitars, you’re not just buying a guitar—you’re gaining a partner who will stand by you for as long as you own it.
I promise to beat and outmatch any other guitar builder in both customer service and support. Whether it’s helping you perfect your tone, making adjustments to suit your evolving style, or simply being available when you need advice, I’m here for you.
Working musicians deserve instruments they can rely on, and that’s exactly what I deliver. I’m here to ensure you’re never left in the dark, and that your guitar keeps performing at its best—no matter where your journey takes you. That’s the JTal Guitars difference: unmatched service and a builder who’s in it for the long haul.

First: Email john@jtalguitars.com with as many details as possible so we can get an accurate picture of what you're after. We will provide a rough estimate as soon as possible. If you want to proceed forward, we will send you a final estimate with the exact cost. All custom orders require 50% of the actual price before the build begins. When the build is complete, the last 50% is needed for the day of shipping. We will send photos and updates every step of the way so you can see your guitar take shape!
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we will issue a full refund, handle the shipping to return the instrument, and offer the best customer service and communication every step of the way.
Don't hesitate to get in touch with us to help with new purchases, past purchases, or custom orders.
