John was kind enough to sell me his one-of-a-kind Burnt Tangerine. Having spent quite some time with it now, the feel of the neck is unparalleled. John included some really fun pickup wiring mods that reminds me of how I felt as a kid grabbing different crayons out of a box to make drawings. Having five modes instead of a traditional three is amazing, and each of them are so musical from my perspective. I have put the BT through its paces on some twangy rock n roll a la the Rolling Stones, all the way up to Tom Morello-inspired tele drop D riffs. This thing just rips. Not to mention it is easily one of the most unique looking instruments ever made. I am very much inspired by the Burnt Tangerine every time I pick it up. Not to mention, John is one of the most personable people I've ever bought something from. You can't go wrong!

My guitar was delivered just as I ordered and on time. John takes pride in building a great playing guitar. I had a slight intonation adjustment after several months due to climate fluctuations that he fixed with no problem. In my opinion , it ranks with the Fender custom shop guitars I have played. I have no hesitation in recommending JTal Guitars.
