Custom Loaded Pickguards

Huffcaster-style options and custom wiring

Choose the pickups and control layout for your guitar. The Dann Huff-inspired setup uses individual series/parallel switches for each pickup and a Demeter midboost with bypass. Lead/rhythm circuits and "neck on" switching are not included in this configuration.

Prices and lead time
Custom loaded pickguards start at $1,000.
Huffcaster-style loaded pickguards start at $1,275.

The final price depends on the pickups and other parts selected. Typical lead time is four weeks.

Fit and installation
Fit depends on the pickguard pattern and the space available for the electronics. Include your guitar's make, model and year with your quote request, plus photos of the existing pickguard and controls.

The pickguard is prewired. Connecting it to your guitar still requires soldering. Pickguard prices do not include installation or routing. Local electric guitar wiring and repair is available by arrangement in Elkhorn, Nebraska.

Individual pickup switching
If It Weren't for Huff #1022 used individual series/parallel switches with a James Tyler bridge pickup and Seymour Duncan Hot Stacks. It had passive tone controls, with no midboost. That guitar has sold.
