Custom orders start with the guitar you want to build: body style, neck shape, pickups, bridge and finish. Send your ideas and budget to john@jtalguitars.com. Reference photos and details of guitars you already play are useful.
 

Pricing and ordering
You will receive a rough estimate first. Once the specifications are agreed, a final estimate confirms the price. A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is due on the shipping date.
 

John sends photos and updates throughout the build. Timing depends on the specifications and current schedule; discuss any deadline before placing an order.
 

Past builds
Flaunt Your Flare #1020 has a roasted maple neck, DiMarzio pickups and an Original Floyd Rose. Its black and pink splatter finish is nitrocellulose.
 

If It Weren't for Huff #1022 has a James Tyler bridge pickup, Seymour Duncan Hot Stacks and individual series/parallel switches. Both guitars have sold; their pages include photos and specifications.
